HAPO is now accepting applications for a Member Connections Specialist in Richland, WA. We are seeking an individual who is ambitious, self-motivated and who strives to represent HAPO's core commitment "Be in the Moment" and deliver service that will "Defy Expectations" with our members, community as well as the team they are a part of. Ideal candidates will have excellent multi-tasking skills, excellent written and verbal skills and be comfortable with 80% of their day spent on phones. They will be capable of handling themselves in stressful situations and deescalating adverse member situations. 

Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to: 

  • Perform member requested transactions accurately and completely.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all corporate, personnel and research matters.
  • Full understanding of credit union products/services and looks for opportunities to proactively promote them in accordance with the credit union's program standards
  • Answering 'back-to-back' calls with consistent exceptional service
  • Receptive to frequent coaching on call recording
  • Must be able to handle multiple channels of communication at a high level, I.E. Calls, chats, emails, member inbox, Fax
  • Must be comfortable making informed decisions and exceptions to strengthen the member relationship while protecting the credit union

Requirements:

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate

Banking and/or Call Center experience is preferred

Location: On-Site Richland (WA)
Schedule: Must be able to work 35-40 hours a week between the hours of 8:30am - 6:30pm M-F with Rotating Saturdays required

Starting Pay Range (DOE): $23.42- $35.12
*Typically, Selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint range, based on applicable experience and qualifications.
