Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

  • Lead the planning and execution of events at the Good Housekeeping Institute, from concept through completion
  • Identify, pitch, and secure brand partners for paid event opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with PR agencies, brand marketers, and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with partners to develop creative, on-brand event concepts that resonate with audiences
  • Manage event logistics, timelines, and on-site execution to ensure a seamless experience
  • Negotiate contracts, oversee invoicing, and ensure timely payments from partners
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, ensuring events meet the highest standards
  • Support business operations by processing invoices, onboarding vendors, and creating contributor contracts across Good Housekeeping, Woman's Day, and Prevention

Qualifications (What We're Looking For)

  • 3+ years of experience in event coordination, administrative, editorial, or related roles (media or publishing experience a plus)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with budgeting, invoicing, and contract management processes
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of execution
  • This role is based in New York City with a hybrid schedule of 4 days in-office per week

The base salary for this role is $68,340 - $72,000. This role is also eligible for performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
