Responsibilities

The Warehouse Manager, responsible for both the Ultium Cells battery material warehouse and the LG Chem resin warehouse, will perform the following duties:

1. Overall Warehouse Operations Management

  • Oversee and optimize the overall operations of both warehouses (battery materials and resin)
  • Manage and improve inbound, outbound, inventory, storage, and shipping processes

2. Inventory Control and Accuracy

  • Maintain high inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical inventories
  • Analyze discrepancies and implement corrective actions

3. Safety and Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards for battery materials (including DG) and chemical products (resin)
  • Adhere to OSHA and other regulatory requirements, and support internal and external audits

4. Customer and Cross-functional Communication

  • Communicate with Ultium Cells and LG Chem regarding operational matters
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as production, procurement, and transportation

5. Workforce and Team Management

  • Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
  • Develop workforce planning to improve operational efficiency

6. KPI and Performance Management

  • Establish and monitor logistics KPIs (inventory accuracy, OTIF, production support rate, etc.)
  • Drive continuous improvement based on performance analysis

7. Cost Management and Optimization

4. Leadership and Communication

  • Proven experience in team management (hiring, training, and performance evaluation)
  • Strong communication skills with multiple stakeholders (customers and internal departments)
  • Effective decision-making and issue-resolution capabilities

5. Language and Other Requirements

  • Proficiency in both Korean and English for business communication
  • Proficiency in MS Office and logistics systems
  • Experience working in global or overseas environments preferred

Pay

The base salary range for this role is between $90,000-$110,000 yearly, and your base salary will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
