We're looking for an Administrative Assistant - DEERS/RAPIDS Credentials to support ta key client in Newport, Rhode Island.  This position is responsible for processing military identification cards and Common Access Cards (CAC), verifying eligibility documentation, supporting DEERS/RAPIDS operations, maintaining accountability of controlled credentialing materials, and providing exceptional customer service to military members, retirees, civilian employees, contractors, and authorized dependents.

What You'll Do
You'll support daily DEERS/RAPIDS operations by:

  • Processing Common Access Cards (CACs) and military ID cards
  • Verifying eligibility documentation
  • Assisting active-duty military, retirees, civilian employees, contractors, and dependents
  • Maintaining accountability of secure credentialing materials
  • Performing basic maintenance on RAPIDS equipment
  • Maintaining records and reports
  • Ensuring compliance with DoD credentialing requirements
  • Delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced government environment
