What youll do:

Under the direction of the Assistant Plant Manager and Plant Supervisor, Diverts Senior Technicians play a pivotal role as they drive operational efficiencies while championing our safety and culture initiatives. Our Senior Technicians work in our RNG facilities, utilizing cutting-edge technology to solve the food waste crisis.

Shifts Available:

  • Days, 2/2/3, 6a to 6:30p
  • Nights, 2/2/3, 6p to 6:30a

This position is a safety-sensitive position and requires a clear mind and diligence. The employee has the responsibility for his/her safety as well as the safety of others.

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with the plant supervisor to execute the daily operation plan.

  • Engages directly with the Divert HMI daily to understand system performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive results that meet leadership-defined standards.

  • Assists with and executes clean-in-place (CIP) procedures, including but not limited to Biosis, MBR, and decanter operations, while ensuring titration accuracy and process adherence.

  • Daily plant reporting Divert Digital Platform, Maintenance Connection, etc.

  • Cross-trained and able to support in all processing positions on the plant floor

  • Ensures execution of daily sanitation tasks

  • Safety leadership ensures the team delivers excellence in LOTO, Fall Prevention, Confined Space, Hot Work, PPE, and more

  • Identifies and communicates potential safety, environmental, and operational risks within the food waste RNG facility; responds promptly to alarms, abnormal conditions, spills, equipment failures, and other emergencies; and escalates issues to leadership or emergency response personnel as needed.

  • Cross-trained to assist in the maintenance and repair of feedstock processing equipment and other RNG facility equipment.

  • Other duties as assigned

What were looking for:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

  • 2 year Technical Degree, Associates degree, or Military background is a plus

  • 1-3 years Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance, or Auto Mechanic experience

  • 1-3 years in a Leadership role preferred

  • Forklift experience required

  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication in English

  • Basic computer proficiency and mathematical skills

  • Experience leading in a fast-paced environment

  • Willing to work overtime
