Job description

Overview:

Parlor Doughnuts is a craft doughnut and coffee shop offering an array of unique bakery items, including our original layered doughnuts; vegan, gluten-friendly, and keto-friendly products; artisanal breakfasts; and specialty coffee. Our goal is to efficiently deliver a superior product, at a moderate price, with exceptional service, in a comfortable setting.

Parlor Doughnuts is looking to expand our team! Parlor Front of House team members are the first impression to each customer. This requires a commitment to Parlor values and standards with friendliness, a smile and a welcoming demeanor, greeting customers with warmth, while taking customer orders, completing transactions on the cash register, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and presentable lobby.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer concerns

  • Restock doughnut display, build boxes and ensure all supplies are refilled for customers

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area (display case, tables, etc.)

  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for customers

  • Help direct in additional duties such as, sweeping, dishes, or garbage as needed

Experience

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not required

  • Knowledge of basic food handling techniques

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Physical stamina to withstand a full shift on their feet
