Commissary Support Clerk located in a DeCA Commissary store and incumbent serves as a liaison between the store and the HQ Accounts Control Section (ACS). The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of store-level work associated with accounts and price maintenance.

Qualifications:
You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for series 0303 and additional requirements by the announcement closing date. Experience: One (1) year of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates the ability to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of this position (general experience).
OREducation: Two (2) full years of successfully completed education above high school at an accredited business, secretarial, technical school, junior college, college, or university. Transcripts are required if relying on education, in whole or in part, to qualify. See Required Documents for more information.
ORCombination of experience and education: To calculate the combination, divide your total months of experience by 12, then divide your semester hours by 60 and add the two percentages. If the total is 100%, you meet the minimum qualifications through a combination of experience and education.

Experience can be under other Federal service pay systems, private sector, or military. Examples of qualifying experience include:
- Maintains adequate stock of administrative and operating supplies .
- Performs price look-up and file maintenance for price changes .
- Prepares and prints supplemental price listing, new shelf labels, and corrects as needed
- Establishes and maintains files.
- Counts money and verifies fund balance and procedures.
OREducation: One (1) full year of graduate level education with major study in business administration, public administration, agricultural economics (food industry management), or other fields related to the position; or superior academic achievement.
ORCombination of experience and education. To calculate the combination, divide your total months of experience by 12, then divide your graduate level semester hours by the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study or 18 and add the two percentages. If the total is 100%, you meet the minimum qualifications through a combination of experience and education.
You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for series 0303 and additional requirements by the announcement closing date. Your resume must clearly show that you have one (1) year of experience conducting job analysis, posting vacancies in an automated system, advising management on a variety of recruitment authorities and techniques, evaluating applicants for eligibility and qualifications, creating and issuing referral certificates, making job offers and onboarding personnel, and preparing and auditing personnel actions for accuracy and regulatory compliance (specialized experience) equivalent to at least GS-11. Experience can be under other Federal service pay systems, private sector, or military.

Physical requirements: (1) Stand, stoop, kneel, bend and climb for prolonged periods. (2) Lift, push, pull, carry, and handle items weighing up to 25 pounds independently and occasionally over 40 pounds with assistance.
