Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Deburr Technician with at least 2 years of experience to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the deburring, polishing, and finishing of sheet metal parts to ensure quality standards and specifications are met. The role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A skills test will be preformed to test ability before hire. ONLY APPLY if you have experience in Deburring and Grinding Sheetmetal.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform deburring, grinding, polishing, and smoothing of edges on sheet metal parts using various hand and power tools.
  • Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, checking for burrs, sharp edges, and rough surfaces.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to understand deburring requirements.
  • Utilize sanders, grinders, and other equipment to remove imperfections and achieve desired finishes.
  • Ensure work area is clean, organized, and follows all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other team members to maintain workflow and achieve production goals.
  • Document completed work and report any quality issues to supervisors.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sheet metal deburring or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and finishing techniques.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including grinders, sanders, and polishing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with metalworking
