The position is based onsite at our Rehabilitation Center in Charlottesville, offering a dynamic and multidisciplinary team environment. You will collaborate closely with orthopedists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in delivering holistic care tailored to each patient's unique needs. • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with functional limitations to identify the appropriate treatment strategies.
• Develop, modify, and execute tailored treatment plans, ensuring alignment with patient goals and clinical guidelines.
• Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards, submitting billing for services rendered.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, providing consultations regarding patients' continuum of care.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and their families, ensuring they are informed and involved in the treatment process.
• Participate in community outreach programs and initiatives that promote health and wellness.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including Physical Therapy Assistants and aides, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
• Attend and contribute to staff meetings and continuing education activities to enhance professional development.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred, although exceptional new graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment protocols and rehabilitation techniques specific to orthopedic patients.
