Job Description Job Title: Facility Operations Manager Location: Springfield, VA Working Hours: Normal Work Hours - Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) Required Qualifications: Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Full Scope Poly Minimum of 10 years of recent facility operations and maintenance experience as a Chief Engineer or a Facility Manager at a facility of similar or greater size (550,000 SF) and scope; 10 years of demonstrated experience with asset and equipment management, workflow management, and CMMS platforms; Experience with the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) approach preferred; Proficiency using MS Office (including MS Word and Excel) and excellent verbal and written communication skills - a short writing sample will be required; High level of professionalism for client interaction and employee management/support; Experience in the transition of facilities from construction to full operations is highly desirable; and Current Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP), or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus but not required. Position required to direct and manage staff and contractors for all facility (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) O&M, grounds, and road maintenance work

This may include: Developing, maintaining, and enforcing facility maintenance plans; Supervising the work of skilled trades, general maintenance, and custodial workers; Performing facility inspections to provide comprehensive facility condition assessments; Overseeing completion of complex infrastructure or asset repair/installation projects with in-house staff or subcontractors; Planning work activities, developing budgets, and expending funds within established limits to meet maintenance goals; Overseeing the entry of maintenance data into a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); Serving as the on-site point of contact for formal and informal discussions with the customers with the intent to sustain customer satisfaction; Reviewing resources, procedures, and methods to improve operational effectiveness, utility, and efficiency; Ensuring proper staffing and continuity of support; Providing accurate and timely management and contract reports; Identifying vendors and reviewing/approving their proposals; and Ensuring the quality and safety of all provided services. This role involves working in secure environments in support of mission-critical operations.
