Job Summary:
FI Consulting is a firm that specializes in analytical challenges for financial institutions in the federal, private, and public sectors. They are seeking a senior Dynamics Power Platform Developer to design and optimize enterprise solutions in Microsoft 365 GCC High, focusing on building secure and scalable applications.
Responsibilities:
• Design and enhance Power Apps (canvas & model-driven) in GCC High, adhering to Section 508 accessibility, least-privilege security, and FISMA standards.
• Implement Power Fx logic, reusable components, and responsive UX patterns.
• Develop workflows and automations using Power Automate (cloud flows, complex expressions, orchestrations).
• Design Dataverse tables, rules, and relationships.
• Integrate with external systems using REST/JSON APIs using Microsoft Entra ID (Gov) OAuth 2.0, managed identities/service principals, and (where applicable) Azure API Management (Gov).
• Develop custom components (PCF) using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize solutions.
• Mentor developers and contribute to CI/CD and governance by implementing solution layering (managed/unmanaged), environment variables, and connection references.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 9+ years development experience, 3+ in Power Platform.
• Hands-on Power Platform experience (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI) at enterprise scale.
• Strong Power Fx, JavaScript, JSON, TypeScript, and REST API skills.
• Familiar with JavaScript/TypeScript, PCF (React/TypeScript), VS Code, Git, and Power Platform CLI.
• Experience with ALM/DevSecOps using managed solutions, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub), quality gates, code reviews, and automated validations.
• Practical agile experience with user stories, acceptance criteria, and iterative delivery.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Must reside within the DC Metro area with the ability to attend on-site client meetings.
Preferred:
• PL-400 preferred (required for senior).
• Power Platform Well-Architected Framework.
• Experience in regulated environments (public sector, healthcare, finance) or familiarity with GCC High considerations.
• Performance engineering for Dataverse/Power Apps/Power BI; load testing.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI or Copilot Studio assisted development.
• Familiar with FedRAMP/FISMA/NIST 800-53 aligned practices: logging, auditing, evidence capture; supporting ATO documentation.
• Accessibility: Section 508 / WCAG conformance in UI and reports.
