Facility:
This healthcare facility provides comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services to the Henderson community. With 15 beds in the department, the facility maintains a supportive environment for both patients and providers while delivering quality women's healthcare services.
Opportunity:
Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
• 7-on/7-off schedule preferred with ongoing opportunities into the year
• Average of 10 patient encounters per shift
• Must be board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Manage low risk pregnancies and perform routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps
• Handle complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
• Perform decision-making for C-sections as required
• Conduct OB ultrasounds (Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted) with performance and interpretation capabilities
• Perform amniocentesis procedures and repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Provide office/minor gynecology services including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
• Perform surgical gynecology including open procedures and laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures
• Handle operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's
• Must have active North Carolina medical license (no IMLC accepted)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
• Lodging available at Hampton Inn, Henderson NC or Airbnb options
• RDU is the nearest airport
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
