Scheduling Assistant

Hillcrest Country Estates | Papillion, NE

Pay: $20.00-24.50/hr based upon experience, education and certifications

Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Scheduling Assistant to support staffing operations at Hillcrest Country Estates. This role is essential in ensuring our residents receive exceptional care by helping maintain accurate schedules and supporting daily staffing needs.

What Youโ€™ll Do:
  • Create and maintain team member schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels

  • Communicate schedule updates and staffing needs clearly and timely

  • Assist with call-ins, shift coverage, and last-minute adjustments

  • Partner with leadership to anticipate staffing gaps

  • Maintain scheduling records and ensure accuracy within staffing systems

  • Provide administrative support to the leadership team as needed

  • Onboard and orientate new team members to the facility
What Weโ€™re Looking For:
  • Previous scheduling or staffing experience in a Skilled or Long Term Care setting preferredย 

  • Experience in healthcare or senior living is a plus

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic environment

  • Clear, professional communication skills

  • Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented mindset

  • Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
