Job description

Job Summary
The basic purpose and function of this position is to manage the product output in the Cable manufacturing areas. Provide support and guidance for the supervisors. Ensure consistency in job delegation, job placement, hiring, performance and discipline. Implement programs that will reduce scrap and rework of materials and lead to the manufacturing of a quality product.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Managing the supervisor' efforts on production, maintenance, quality, personnel, and raw materials, shipping and manufacturing processes.
  • Managing the quality initiative, results, customer complaints, trouble shooting of the supervisors.
  • Implementing continuous process improvement.
  • Planning and planning flow of product.
  • Managing information flow between departments and supervisors.
  • Administration of company policies consistently.
  • Meeting customer quality, delivery and special request requirements.
  • Staffing and planning for current and future manpower needs.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Management or Engineering.
  • Previous manufacturing experience.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Good time management and setting priorities skills.
  • Background in managing labor, materials and cost.

  • Direction on how manufacturing areas will achieve goals of: on-time shipments, product flow, scheduling.
  • Personnel administration decisions based on company policies.
  • Product quality decisions.
  • Staffing and manpower level.
