Night Shift Dispatcher

Phillip's Towing & Recovery

Full-Time | Night Shift | Rotating Weekends

Phillip's Towing & Recovery is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Night Shift Dispatcher to join our team. This is a fast-paced position where no two nights are the same. One moment you may be assisting a stranded motorist, and the next you'll be coordinating an emergency towing or recovery call.

Schedule
  • Full-time position averaging 40 hours per week

  • Every other weekend: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM โ€“ 7:00 AM

  • Weekday shifts: 3:00 PM โ€“ 11:00 PM and/or 11:00 PM โ€“ 7:00 AM, depending on the weekly schedule

  • Schedule is designed to provide a full 40-hour workweek

  • Must be available to train on the day shift during the training period

Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls professionally and dispatch drivers efficiently

  • Enter and update job information accurately using dispatch software

  • Coordinate towing and recovery operations

  • Keep customers informed throughout the service process

  • Support drivers with information and assistance during their shifts

  • Maintain accurate dispatch records and logs

  • Complete administrative tasks during slower periods

  • Help maintain a clean and organized office, including restroom upkeep

  • Remain attentive and ready to respond to calls throughout the shift

Qualifications
  • Dispatch experience preferred (towing, emergency services, or 911 dispatch is a plus)

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Strong multitasking and organizational abilities

  • Comfortable using computers and dispatch software

  • Accurate typing and attention to detail

  • Dependable, punctual, and reliable

  • Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations

  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
