Salary:

OVERVIEW

The Recovery Housing Coordinator plays a vital leadership role in overseeing the daily operations within a primarily male recovery housing facility. This position ensures a safe, structured, and accountable environment that promotes sobriety, personal responsibility, and growth for residents.


This role blends property management, staff supervision, and recovery-focused support, while also functioning in a CDCA capacity to reinforce treatment goals and support basic clinical coordination under supervision.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Property Management

  • Oversee daily housing operations, including maintenance, repairs, and overall cleanliness
  • Ensure compliance with housing regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies
  • Conduct routine property inspections and address resident concerns promptly

Resident Support & Recovery Environment

  • Manage resident intake, lease agreements, rent collection, and move-in/move-out processes
  • Connect residents with recovery resources (12-Step, counseling, peer support) in collaboration with treatment providers and case managers
  • Facilitate house meetings to promote accountability, community, and conflict resolution
  • Support recovery progress by reinforcing treatment goals and maintaining appropriate documentation in a CDCA capacity

Staff Leadership & Operations

  • Supervise Resident Monitors and oversee daily facility operations
  • Coordinate schedules, activities, and programming (intakes, drug screens, curfew checks, room searches, drills, etc.)
  • Ensure all program activities are completed in alignment with established procedures


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred
  • Successful completion of BCI/FBI background check and pre-employment drug screen
  • CDCA certification or Peer Recovery Support certification required (or in process)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in recovery support, behavioral health, or managing structured environments (e.g., housing, corrections, residential programs) strongly preferred.
