About the role:
As a Personal Support Worker (PSW), you'll use your training to provide person-centred care, support daily living, and help clients stay comfortable and independent in their own homes. You'll travel between clients' homes throughout the day, making every visit matter. Bring your skills to where they're needed most!

What you'll do:
  • Provide care to clients in the comfort of their own homes
  • Help develop the client's care plan
  • Assist with personal care, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Aide with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals and perform light housekeeping duties
  • Offer respite care to families, allowing them a much-needed break
  • Monitor and maintain a safe home environment
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What we are looking for:
  • Personal Support Worker or Developmental Services Worker certification
  • Nursing students who have completed first year of RPN or BScN or internationally educated nurses are eligible to apply
  • Must have a current Standard First Aid Certificate or CPR level C Certificate, if applicable to the work being performed
  • Must enjoy driving, have a personal vehicle and possess both a current driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
  • A current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check
  • Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
