6 Month Seasonal Position
2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm

What You Do.
  • Operate RDS System and brine flume to maintain temperature and salinity.
  • Report brine system, string extruders and brine chiller issues to production and maintenance department.
  • Set-up and inspect work area for cleanliness and readiness.
  • Operate string cutters and frequently monitor extruded cheese to ensure proper weight and length specifications.
  • Maintain and document daily cutter operations log.
  • Communicate with packaging department about products and product flow.
  • Communicate with production about products, product flow, product quality and/or concerns.
  • Communicate with lab tech, maintaining proper product size.
  • Work with sanitation to disassemble mixers, mixer pipes, string extruders and storage of end-of-the-day product.
  • Add salt to the brine system.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your Education and Experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED/HSED) required or minimally enrolled with anticipated completion in 12 months or less
  • Prior manufacturing experience is a plus

Your Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Willingness to complete fork lift certification upon hire.
  • Ability to learn and carry out lock out tag out procedures as required.
  • Ability to occasionally lift 10-80 lbs.
