We primarily board dogs—though we care for some cats as well—so genuine enthusiasm for both species is essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Doggy Day Care
    • Supervise and care for dogs of various breeds and sizes in our day care program.
    • Ensure play areas are safe, clean, and engaging.
    • Monitor dog interactions for safety, providing positive reinforcement and redirection as needed.
    • Assist with feeding, basic grooming, and wellness checks.
  • Hospital Cleanliness
    • Maintain extremely high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital.
    • Disinfect floors, exam rooms, kennels, and common spaces.
    • Properly dispose of waste in accordance with health guidelines.
    • Restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs.
  • Client Interaction
    • Greet clients and their pets in person; provide a friendly and professional experience.
    • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and relay information between clients and staff.
    • Address client questions or concerns with empathy; escalate issues as needed.
  • Hospital Tasks
    • Support veterinary staff and technicians with routine procedures as needed.
    • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, record keeping, and supply restocking.
    • Help with animal restraint and handling during exams or treatments when requested.

Qualifications
  • A true love for dogs (we board many) and cats (fewer, but important) is required.
  • Animal care experience is preferred, but training is provided for the right candidate.
  • Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, as well as cats.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Professional phone manner and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting at least 40lbs.
  • Willingness to handle cleaning chemicals and animal waste.
If you are passionate about animal care, excel in customer service, and want to be part of a dedicated team, we encourage you to apply!
