Job description

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Business Partner (Hybrid)

Company Purpose: Profisee exists to make Master Data Management easy for the purpose of unlocking the power of trusted data.

The AI Business Partner will be responsible for architecting and executing Profisee's enterprise-wide AI and data strategy, with an initial focus on intra-department and cross-departmental data optimization and scalable AI enablement. This role is intentionally designed as both strategist AND builder. It is the perfect role for a hands-on visionary who loves freedom and the opportunity to truly build something special. This person does not simply lead initiatives, but designs, prototypes, implements, and operationalizes them. The impact of your work will accelerate innovation, unlock the value of our data assets, and embed AI capabilities into the fabric of how we operate. You will be successful by challenging existing thinking, translating complex data ecosystems into actionable intelligence, and building pragmatic, scalable AI solutions that improve internal operational efficiency.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the AI Business Partner will operate out of Profisee's headquarters in Alpharetta, GA on a hybrid basis. By partnering with the CEO and the entire Executive Leadership Team, you will have quick access to information and will have the ability to be agile and make things happen!

Given the rapid rise of Artificial Intelligence, it is very likely that the individual stepping into this role will not have previously held a similar position. With that in mind, we place great value on the behavioral attributes and innate strengths that will help someone thrive here. Transparency is one of our core values, and we invite you to reflect openly on whether this opportunity aligns with what energizes you and where you do your best work. We're looking for someone who embodies the following qualities:

Self-starter

Curious

Accountable

Problem-Solver

Transparent

Team Oriented

Extra-High Urgency

Growth mindset oriented

The local Executive Team typically comes into the office 3 days a week. We have a pet-friendly work environment and lunch is provided daily (Mon - Thurs) for the purpose of providing a mental health break and more importantly to break bread with and to get to know your colleagues on a personal basis.

Your Performance Objectives - What You Will Accomplish

Within your first 30 days - Discovery and Relationship building

Primary Objective: Develop enterprise-level understanding of where Profisee sits today in relation to AI readiness.

  • Conduct structured listening sessions with the CEO, CTO, CRO, CMO, and leaders across Professional Services, Customer Support, and Product to understand strategic priorities, operational friction points, and AI aspirations.
  • Map our current enterprise data ecosystem across Sales (Gong, Salesforce CRM), Finance (NetSuite), Customer Support, Customer Success, Marketing Automation, Product Usage Data, MDM infrastructure, and other critical systems to create a clear view of how data flows across the business.
  • Evaluate how each department and individuals are currently leveraging AI, distinguishing experimentation from scalable deployment, and identify potential AI Champions to help accelerate adoption.
  • Review existing security, data governance, and management policies and prepare forward-looking recommendations to ensure responsible, secure, and compliant AI implementation.
  • Assess our data quality readiness for the purpose of improving the overall quality and useability of critical internal information to be leveraged for competitive advantages and operational efficiencies.

Within your first 60 days -AI Opportunity Mapping

Primary Objective: Target quick and substantial Data and AI wins

  • Identify high-impact, quick-win AI use cases across revenue generation, RFP acceleration, support automation, and internal knowledge retrieval to demonstrate early value and deliver 1-3 use cases in production.
  • Assess data quality, accessibility, integration gaps, governance standards, and overall, AI readiness to identify both constraints and untapped opportunities.
  • Present a next 30/60/120-Day AI Opportunity Brief to the Executive Leadership Team outlining the top five highest-impact AI initiatives, required data integrations, estimated ROI and revenue enablement potential, and associated risks and governance considerations.

Within your first 6 months, design the AI operating Model and data integration strategy to deliver tangible business value.

  • Define and socialize a clear enterprise AI strategy framework aligned to revenue growth, product differentiation, operational scale, and market positioning.
  • Serve as both AI orchestrator and hands-on builder, partnering directly with Revenue, Marketing, Product, Support, Professional Services, and Finance to move from concept to implemented solutions that demonstrate the art of the possible.
  • Develop and execute a cross-department data integration roadmap aligned to the MDM foundation as the trusted data layer, establishing enterprise data management standards, identifying data gaps and hygiene issues, and implementing corrective plans to improve data quality, consistency, and integration across the organization.
  • Launch and deploy both departmental and cross-functional AI use cases (e.g., AI-powered RFP assistant, centralized customer intelligence hub, or internal product knowledge assistant) with defined business success metrics.
  • Create a centralized, structured repository of customer proof points by vertical (Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing) enabling Revenue to access consolidated product feedback, customer journey insights, and referenceable stories.
  • Define and track measurable AI impact metrics such as support ticket close times, customer story retrieval and formulation time, RFP response time improvement, win-rate improvement, support ticket deflection, and knowledge-retrieval speed.
  • Promote and celebrate implemented AI successes across the organization to reinforce momentum, recognize contributors, and inspire broader adoption.

Competencies - What We are Looking For

Highly collaborative operator:You know how to influence without authority. In a role with no direct reports, you build momentum through trust, credibility, results and clarity. You bring leaders together across Revenue, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Services to align on shared data and AI priorities. You are comfortable navigating competing agendas and turning cross-functional friction into forward movement. The best candidates will be able to describe situations where they aligned senior stakeholders around a complex initiative that required shared ownership and disciplined execution.

Analytical and insight-driven:You naturally think in systems, patterns, and cause-and-effect relationships. You can assess business problems, determine root causes and either yourself or with others discern and choose effective paths to solve those problems. From a technical perspective you can assess data quality, integration gaps, and business impact quickly and translate technical findings into clear executive-level insights. Strong candidates will be able to describe how they have moved from messy, fragmented data environments to structured, decision-ready intelligence. Bonus points if you can share how your analysis directly influenced revenue growth, operational efficiency, or product strategy.

Influencing and relationship building:You know you can't do it by yourself. You have the communication skills and emotional intelligence to quickly establish credibility with and gain the trust and respect of everyone in the organization. You must be able to balance asking the right questions with providing direction to ensure that initiatives are successfully implemented. You can convince people of both the "why" and the "how" of following a process.

Exceptional listener and translator:You ask thoughtful, structured questions and truly absorb what you hear. You can separate symptoms from root causes and distinguish between what leaders say they want and what the business actually needs. You listen for opportunity, risk, and alignment gaps. Then you translate complex technical concepts into language that executives and frontline teams can understand and act on. The strongest candidates will share examples of how listening deeply changed the direction of a project or uncovered a breakthrough opportunity.

Comfort with ambiguity:At times, this role will be responsible for taking nebulous ideas and translating them into specific, concrete actions. You should be comfortable taking high-level direction, translating it into a plan, and enlisting those you need to get the job done. As such, you will have examples of times when you took an idea, sharpened it, and owned its execution from start-to-finish.

Get Stuff Done / Accountable:It bothers you when people don't follow through on their commitments. You have no problem planning the work, working the plan, and proactively communicating your progress along the way. You can tell us about times when you have rolled up your sleeves, taken ownership of a body of work, and delivered the results with minimal support.

Kind, helpful, and fun:We want you to be a person we enjoy collaborating with, spending time with, and investing in. You may be this person if you already invest heavily in those you work with, and if you consistently receive the feedback that you are a great colleague and teammate. A great sign is if people go out of their way to work with you, no matter the situation.
