Job description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity offers a per diem role as a staff pharmacist in a retail pharmacy setting located in Brunswick, GA, managed by an established pharmacy management group. The position focuses on delivering excellent pharmaceutical care in a busy community pharmacy environment, with strong technician support to assist daily operations.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday, 6/22: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday, 6/24: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Thursday, 6/25: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday, 6/26: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Monday, 6/29: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily pharmacy operations including opening and closing procedures
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to protocols
  • Dispense prescription medications accurately while providing patient counseling
  • Utilize Datascan by WinPharm system to process prescriptions and maintain records
  • Support the implementation and management of 340B program activities (prior experience preferred but not mandatory)

Desired Experience:

  • Proven background in retail or community pharmacy practice
  • Experience in supervising pharmacy technicians and managing pharmacy opening and closing
  • Knowledge of 340B drug pricing program considered a plus
  • Active and valid Georgia pharmacist license

Location:

  • Brunswick, GA, approximately one hour south of Savannah, GA, and one hour north of Jacksonville, FL
