Mandatory Technical Qualifications:
At least ten years of experience providing Information Technology (IT) consulting services.
At least five years of experience providing IT consulting services to State and/or Federal agencies in the USA.
At least five years of experience providing actual hands-on AWS datacenter migration work, i.e., holding technical roles & responsibilities.
At least five years of experience designing and implementing hybrid, multi-cloud datacenter.
At least five years of experience designing and implementing VMWare virtualization with 1,000+ virtual servers.
At least five years of experience designing and implementing VMWare VDI environment for l,000+ concurrent users.
At least five years of experience designing and implementing SQL Server database high availability, i.e., Always On, clustering, etc.
At least five years of experience designing and implementing large scale, highly available systems and server environments.
At least five years of experience designing and implementing enterprise datacenter network with multiple geographically distributed locations.
At least five years of experience designing and implementing enterprise datacenter infrastructure services, i.e., backup, monitoring, etc.
Desirable Technical Qualifications:
Experience designing, implementing and deploying AWS solutions in a California State agency.
Experience designing, implementing and deploying AWS solutions in any government agency, i.e. Federal, State, or County.
Has a Bachelor's degree, or more advanced degree, in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Has one or more VMWare virtualization certificates.
Has one or more VMWare VDI, storage or other VMWare certificates.
Has one or more Cisco or other networking certificates.
Has one or more AWS certificates.
Has one or more Microsoft certificates.
Strong analytical skills to assess current applications, infrastructure and network, and identify improvement opportunities.
