As an NVIDIAN, you'll be immersed in a diverse, supportive environment where everyone is inspired to do their best work. Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world.

We are seeking a Liquid Cooling Specialist to support and manage the liquid cooling infrastructure across NVIDIA's datacenter engineering labs. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of liquid-cooled systems that support the development and validation of next-generation datacenter products. In addition to owning liquid cooling infrastructure, this individual will support general datacenter bench lab operations, working closely with engineering teams to maintain a safe, efficient, and productive lab environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work with engineering, lab operations, facilities, and site services teams to understand liquid cooling needs for new server platforms and lab deployments.

  • Install, configure, maintain, and fix CDUs, facility water connections, manifolds, hoses, pumps, valves, quick disconnects, sensors, and related cooling equipment.

  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, leak testing, coolant quality checks, system health monitoring, and incident response for liquid cooling infrastructure.

  • Maintain cooling equipment inventory, SOPs, maintenance schedules, infrastructure documentation, and compliance with lab safety and EH&S requirements.

  • Assemble, build and install bench top development platforms and large server systems. Run system tests, collect and report on testing results. Screen modules and boards as part of validation testing and debug.

What we need to see:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. Solid understanding of engineering design principles, mechanical systems, and liquid cooling infrastructure is required.

  • 5+ years of experience supporting engineering labs, datacenter environments, hardware validation labs, facilities operations, or similar technical settings.

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with liquid cooling, facility water systems, chilled water systems, HVAC, industrial cooling, or related mechanical infrastructure.

  • Working knowledge of CDUs, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, manifolds, tubing, quick disconnects, sensors, coolant loops, and facility water connections.

  • Strong mechanical solving, organization, communication, and prioritization skills. Ability to support multiple engineering teams in an active lab environment.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience supporting liquid-cooled AI, HPC, or high-density datacenter server platforms is a plus!

  • Familiarity with datacenter cooling architectures, facility water systems, chilled water systems, BMS, and thermal management technologies.

  • Experience reviewing cooling health data such as flow rate, pressure, temperature, coolant quality, alarms, and system trends.

  • Experience with leak detection, automated alerting, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and long-term reliability improvements.

  • Experience improving lab processes, coordinating vendors, supporting safety programs, or helping expand liquid cooling infrastructure.
