The Systems / Database Manager at Uneekor will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the infrastructure that connects and supports the company's internal and external technology platforms. This role ensures seamless communication between systems including databases, software applications, APIs and operational platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in database administration, system integration, and platform performance optimization. This individual will play a key role in improving data flow, reliability, scalability, and security across the organization's technology ecosystem. The Systems / Database Manager will work closely with engineering, product, analytics, and operations teams to ensure that systems operate efficiently, and data is accessible, accurate, and secure.
Responsibilities
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize company databases to ensure reliability, performance, and data integrity.
  • Monitor and improve system performance, uptime, and data flow across the organization's technology infrastructure.
  • Design and maintain data pipelines, system integrations, and API connectivity between platforms.
  • Troubleshoot system communication issues, performance bottlenecks, and data synchronization problems.
  • Implement database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Ensure data security, access control, and compliance with internal data governance policies.
  • Work with engineering teams to support new product features, integrations, and software releases.
  • Maintain documentation for system architecture, database schemas, and integration workflows.
  • Support data reporting and analytics infrastructure by ensuring accurate and efficient data availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

  • Must be an expert with NetSuite (NS), Shopify and integrations, like Celigo and/or TrueCommerce.
  • Knowledge of API integrations, data pipelines, and system interoperability.
  • Experience with database performance tuning, indexing, query optimization, and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes, data synchronization, and data architecture.
  • Understanding of system security, authentication protocols, and data protection practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
