Database Management System Analyst II

JOB LOCATION: Dahlgren, Virginia

JOB STATUS: Full Time

CLEARANCE: Secret

TRAVEL: Less than 10%

SALARY: $90,000 to $100,500

Astrion has a contingent opening for a Department of the Navy Application and Database Management System (DADMS) Analyst II supporting the U.S. Navy’s Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), located in Dahlgren, VA. In this position, the analyst will manage software and hardware registration workflows within the Department of the Navy (DON) Application and Database Management System (DADMS). This role works with engineering teams, program management, and cybersecurity personnel to understanding their software requirements as well as research the status of software applications in DADMS, manage site software portfolios, and input new applications into DADMS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Two (2) years of professional experience in relation to:
  • The Department of the Navy Applications and Database Management System (DADMS)
  • Navy Information Dominance Approval System (NAV-IDAS)
  • Information Technology Purchasing Request Process (ITPR)
  • Experience working with Functional Area Managers (FAMs) in researching the status of software applications in DADMS
  • Manage site software portfolios, input new applications into DADMS
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand software requirements
  • This position is required to be designated as IAT II level with a T3

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems / Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology (IT) or Computer Science
  • CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, or CCNA
  • Experience in ITIL Foundation (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification is highly preferred
