Title: Sr Functional DB2 DBA with HADR and Q- Replication.    
Work Location: NYC NY
Duration: 1 year plus

Skills Need: 

•Must have 8+ years of experience working for US companies in the US.
•Must have 4 years plus of recent (With in the last 4 years) Banking or brokerage experience.
•Must have a Valid active IBM DBA/DB2 LUW certification.
•Must have Extensive experience with DB2 LUW Version 9.7, 10.5.
•Must have extensive HADR/Q-Replication experience.

•Must have IBM Change Data Capture experience.
•IBM Change Data Capture experience desired.
•Expert with multiple languages and tools
•Must have experience with salt scripting.
 
The Job

•Administer and support of DB2 LUW databases.
•Perform capacity planning, cluster set up, performance tuning and monitoring. 
•Configures and maintains security for databases and focuses on automation to streamline tasks and manage the environment. 
•Do performance tuning, problem diagnosis and resolution, and participates in multi-discipline triage of enterprise-wide incidents. 
•Administers and troubleshoots ETL Processes for decision support stores and Data warehouses. 
•Participates in 24x7 production on-call rotation and provides support for production issues.
•Identifies and initiates resolutions to user problems/concerns associated with DB2 LUW functionality.
