Responsible for abstracting cellular therapy and leukemia patient data in accordance to standards of the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR) in compliance with FACT standards. Obtains, organizes, and manages the data reported to the CIBMTR and ensures that data on all cellular therapy and leukemia patients is available in the clinical database for use in various quality improvement and investigative studies.


KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

1.  High school diploma or equivalent with at least five (4) years of relevant work experience in research, oncology or BMT;

OR 

      Associates degree or equivalent with up to two (2) years of work experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.

3.  Proficient in computer systems with expertise in use of Microsoft Office suite, spreadsheets, database and word processor applications.

4.  Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
