We are looking for an accomplished Map Data QA to perform the validation of HD/SD map data, a vital component in autonomous driving. An ideal candidate should demonstrate extensive prior experience in the mapping field and deep domain knowledge of map data structure and validation strategy. They should also be proficient in producing data validation reports.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop a strategy for verifying map data to meet product requirements

  • Define map data validation rules

  • Participate in the development of automated map data validation framework

  • Perform map data validation

  • Train/support mapping operators on analyzing data validation results

  • Produce data validation report

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience

  • Extensive knowledge of map data validation standards and methodologies

  • At least 5 years of dedicated QA work in the area of map data validation

  • GIS background a great plus

  • A motivated individual capable of working autonomously with minimal direction

  • Phenomenal team player with excellent communication skills

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Extensive knowledge of HD map data verification protocols and techniques

  • A self-starter that requires minimal supervision

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 132,000 USD - 207,000 USD for Level 3, and 152,000 USD - 253,000 USD for Level 4.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
