Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Manager to lead data systems, reporting, and analytics efforts within a large, shared Epic environment supporting community health organizations. This role combines hands-on Epic data and BI expertise with people leadership, ensuring reliable access to clinical, operational, and financial insights across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support Epic data environments, including Clarity, Caboodle, and related SQL-based reporting platforms
  • Oversee dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, ensuring accuracy, performance, and consistency
  • Lead, mentor, and support a small team of analysts or developers (manager or team lead experience required)
  • Partner with clinical, operational, and leadership stakeholders to translate reporting needs into scalable data solutions
  • Support data governance, reporting standards, and best practices across Epic tools (Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, extracts)
  • Ensure reliable data delivery to support quality measures, population health initiatives, and operational reporting for FQHC and community health settings
Required Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience as a director or data team lead
  • Hands-on experience with Epic Clarity and/or Caboodle
  • Strong Power BI experience, including data modeling and dashboard development
  • Prior experience as a manager or team lead, with responsibility for mentoring or overseeing others
  • Solid SQL skills and experience supporting healthcare reporting or analytics
  • Understanding of healthcare data, clinical workflows, and reporting needs in community health or FQHC environments
Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting multi-tenant or shared Epic environments
  • Familiarity with population health, quality measures, or social drivers of health reporting
  • Background working with nonprofit or community health organizations
