Job Summary

The Supplier Data Systems Analyst is responsible for the day‑to‑day administration, optimization, and governance of the APEX supplier portal solution across the CRH group. This role partners closely with Systems Integrators, IT teams, and operating companies (OpCos) to support implementations, ensure stable integrations with ERP and P2P platforms (including Coupa), and continuously enhance portal functionality. Acting as a subject matter expert, the role ensures adherence to governance standards and best‑practice processes while driving an improved supplier and end‑user experience.

In addition, the position supports the ongoing optimization of supplier master data management by assessing current OpCo maturity, leveraging best‑in‑class practices, and enabling incremental improvements across people, process, and technology. The role oversees business‑as‑usual support, delivers training and documentation, provides KPI reporting and insights on adoption and performance, and leads supplier master data migrations for acquisitions. Through strong cross‑functional collaboration and data stewardship, the APEX Supplier Portal Administrator plays a critical role in enabling scalable, compliant, and efficient supplier management across the organization.

This role is based at our corporate office in the Perimeter area of Atlanta, GA – hybrid work schedule

Job Responsibilities

  • System administrator for the APEX supplier portal solution:
  • Support implementation in OpCo’s in conjunction with SI.
  • System admin responsible for monitoring portal functionality and implementing enhancements.
  • Fully understanding integrations to P2P solution & interdependencies between APEX, ERP & Coupa.
  • Ensuring compliance with governance & best practice processes to improve the current solution.
  • Supports the optimization of the supplier master data management process in the CRH group – understands “best-in-class” processes as well as knowing where each OpCo is today and how to incrementally improve across people, process & technology.
  • Manages the business-as-usual support – partnering with IT teams across the divisions to ensure integrations are operating smoothly and end users are getting the best possible experience.
  • Identifies and delivers training activities, ensuring templates and processes related documents are up to date to support the APEX solution.
  • Provides KPI reporting and analytics to assess user adoption trends, operational performance, and service‑level compliance.
  • Prepare and oversee new OpCo data migration from local ERP’s to Apex for acquisitions and create right links with existing suppliers in the database and validate accuracy of the supplier master data migration

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred with a minimum of 3 yrs experience in supplier master data management.
  • Proven capability to analyze system configurations, identify downstream effects, and support informed decision-making.
  • Fluent written and verbal in English is a must, other languages are considered a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a complex, decentralized environment.
  • The ability to collaborate with diverse teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate the importance of data management across the organization is a significant differentiator.
  • Experience with APEX supplier portal workflow and approval configuration (preferred)
  • Experience with Coupa in the Procurement technology ecosystem (preferred)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 
  • Must be 18 years in age or older.
  • Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Willingness to work independently within a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Able to communicate with others by telephone and in person.
  • Able to utilize a computer for word processing, email communication, and preparation of documents and presentations.
  • May require sitting for extended periods of time.
  • When working from a CRH office, expect normal office working conditions.  The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
  • The position may require work outside of normal business hours.
  • Flexibility to work from home based on policy and frequency of office meetings.
