Quality Analyst, Plastics

Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Quality Analyst to be based out of Dallas, TX. Reporting to Director of Quality, this person will be responsible for collecting and trending quality metrics and supporting the corrective action process

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of related work experience and an Associate's degree is preferred. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.

 What you’ll do:

  • Collect and Trend Quality Metrics for the Plastics Division

  • Support the Corrective Action Process with review and initial analysis of customer complaints

  • Track actions and follow up with the owners to ensure timely completion

  • Ensure product compliance by supporting process audits

  • Provide support to manage the certification body sample collection process

  • Interpret data in proper context

  • Perform other duties as needed

What you’ll bring:

  • 3 to 5 years of related work experience
  • Associate's degree (preferred)
  • Technical or procedure writing experience is required
  • Knowledge of production environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) and make presentations

 Within 3 months, you’ll:

  • Assist with reviewing and organizing product certificates of analysis and manufacturing documents
  • Provide support for Quality procedure development/writing

Within 6 months, you’ll:

  • Communicate the results and conclusions to Plastics team members
  • Document management of Plastics Division Quality Documentation

Within 12 months, you’ll:

  • Document and train others in methodologies
  • Provide document management to ensure regulatory compliance with certification bodies

 As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $66,640 - $91,630.  Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time.  Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
