  • Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Data Project Coordinator to join our team for a contract.
    Position Overview
    As a Data Project Coordinator, your main duties are to assist with project development, such as gathering requirements, providing market research and analysis of competitor's and their products, helping to coordinate the development and production schedule, working with vendors, budgets, and a variety of other responsibilities. These may include managing the project workflow, setting up testing schedules to assess whether products are ready for full production (aka UAT), acting as a liaison to stakeholders within the business and acting as their champion to coordinate task/project priorities, helping schedule discussions with staff and vendors, tracking development, and providing oversight of overall project status.
    Essential Duties & Responsibilities
    • Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirement
    • Coordinate project activities, resources, and information to support project teams
    • Help Assign and monitor resources effectively to boost project efficiency and maximize deliverables output
    • Monitor project progress and report on any potential issues or delays to management
    • Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to project work plan
    • Deepen partnerships with outside resources, including third-party vendors and project stakeholders
    • Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets
    • Monitor project costs, progress and quality
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure completed project objectives
    • Maintain and update project documentation and records
    • Act as a Liaison and provide oversite of Vendors that are actively involved in projects
    • Schedule and organize project meetings, taking minutes and tracking action items
    • Ensure all project-related tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
    • Work with management regarding strategy and roadmaps for project initiatives

    Minimum Qualifications
    • 21 years of age.
    • Proof of authorization to work in the United States
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain Nevada Gaming Control Board registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
    • Knowledge of hospitality and gaming markets. Systems a plus (e.g.: LMS, ACSC, Amadeus HotSOS/Rex, Alice, Microsoft Dynamics, IDeas, etc.).
    • Willing to take initiative and be innovative.
    • Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
    • Interpersonal skills to work closely with vendors and employees
    • Excellent listening, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to document reports, processes, configurations, and best practices.
    • Demonstrated abilities to lead and positively influence teams, develop talent, and lead by example.

    Physical Requirements
    Must be able to:
    • Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without reasonable accommodation.
    • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
    • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
    • Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel
    • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
    • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
