In this position, you will perform duties as a PA53 Data Specialist. The position supports the Interoperability Analysis Branch by conducting data processing, data validation, and event reconstruction of combat system and Tactical Data Links (TDL) datasets. The candidate must possess a strong technical foundation, with competencies in data cleaning and validation, data processing, quality assurance, and data integration, as well as experience with automation tools and adherence to data governance standards to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and security of critical operational datasets. Responsibilities * Support both land-based testing and fleet exercises by managing and processing of large tactical datasets, using NSWC Corona PA analysis tools
* Data cleaning, validation, and event reconstruction or track association to prepare datasets for thorough analysis.
* Work closely with the Interoperability Analysis team and must be proficient in troubleshooting data processing and event reconstruction challenges to maintain data integrity and support analytical objectives. Required Skills * Proven experience in data processing, cleaning, and validating large and complex datasets
* Preferred: Foundational knowledge of tactical data links (TDL), including Link 16
* Solid understanding of data management and analytical principles
* Strong ability to clearly communicate technical findings to diverse audiences
* Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving software tool issues
* Expertise in data characterization techniques
* Demonstrated capability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
* Advanced proficiency with Excel, macros, pivot tables, and managing intricate datasets
* Competence in event reconstruction and/or track association using multiple system data sources
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines under aggressive testing schedules
* Must be a U.S. Citizen
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance
