Position Overview

Humane Pathways Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote position. As part of our Detox Center team, you will be integral in providing support and guidance to patients and their families. Key Responsibilities
  • Employ evidence-based therapies to conduct thorough assessments and provide psychotherapy services to clients, adjusting treatment plans based on individual needs.
  • Engage in regular consultations with medical professionals and family members to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
  • Oversee and mentor interns, including evaluating their performance and supporting their caseload management effectively.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives to ensure compliance with agency standards, remaining current with policy changes at the federal, state, and county levels.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops for new interns and clinical trainees, promoting best practices in client care and documentation.
  • Ensure the integrity and maintenance of clinical documentation within our AWARDS electronic health record system, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness of data entry.
  • Process recruitment initiatives, including interviewing and onboarding new interns in alignment with the agencyโ€™s goals.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly work environment by promptly addressing safety and maintenance concerns.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement clinical program objectives and achieve positive client outcomes.
  • Conduct comprehensive crisis intervention and support clients during acute situations to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Complete various reports as requested by the Director to contribute to organizational accountability and transparency.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with vulnerable populations, including adults, children, and families navigating emotional or social issues. Given our focus on detoxification, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals struggling with substance use disorders, helping them to access resources, develop coping strategies, and work toward recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is required.
  • Must be licensed to practice as an LCSW in California, with the ability to offer telehealth services securely and effectively.
  • Proven track record of managing client caseloads and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for engaging diverse client populations and documenting care effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in substance use treatment or detox environments is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring interns and a commitment to fostering professional development in others.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems, especially the AWARDS platform.
Compensation and Benefits
