Job description

We are seeking a highly technical and strategic Senior Developer Relations Manager to join our team. This role focuses on engaging developer ecosystems in data engineering and analytical sciences. In this pivotal role, you will work directly with software solution providers, developers, and industry professionals to champion the adoption of NVIDIA's advanced AI and computing platforms. The ideal candidate combines deep technical knowledge in GPU-accelerated data processing and data science with a passion for developer advocacy. They excel at explaining how NVIDIA technology addresses complex, real-world challenges.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop and maintain deep technical expertise in data processing and data science. Serve as the trusted technical advisor, problem solver, and champion for the developer community passionate about data processing and data science. This includes ISVs, data stores, CSP services, and private or hybrid platforms. Work with cross-functional partners to promote adoption of NVIDIA technologies like RAPIDS, CUDA-X Data Processing, and NVComp.

  • Accelerate critical workloads by demonstrating and integrating the NVIDIA software stack (tools, libraries, SDKs, NIMs, and blueprints) into partner products, platforms, and data pipelines, enabling comprehensive multi-cloud, hybrid, and on-prem solutions.

  • Guide partners through onboarding and integration by providing technical resources - such as sample code, guides, and demo pipelines - to accelerate data processing and data science adoption and foster co-innovation of next-generation solutions.

  • Map and monitor the developer ecosystem to identify growth opportunities, collaborating with engineering, product management, and marketing to inform roadmaps and optimize partner adoption strategies.

  • Engage partner technical leaders to drive best-practice integrations and resolve technical challenges, using regular syncs to track adoption, discover new workflows, identify blockers to partner adoption, and channel critical field insights back to NVIDIA product teams.

  • Closely engage with partners on building strategy and execution plans to grow data processing and data science capabilities into their solutions. Deeply understand data processing and data science breakthroughs, evolving ecosystem and software, attending conferences, building a network of influencers, and tracking opportunities in progress.

  • Drive early adoption of new products and support launch and go-to-market activities in collaboration with NVIDIA partner managers, solution architects, industry business development managers, and sales and marketing teams.

What We Need to See:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 12+ years of overall professional experience in the technology industry in software engineering, developer relations, technical partnerships, solutions architecture, or product management, including 5+ years of direct hands-on experience in data processing, data science, or GPU-accelerated computing.

  • Proven experience leading, partnering, and scaling developer programs at major technology companies and/or within relevant data processing and data science verticals, including ISVs, data stores, and CSP services.

  • Significant technical depth in data processing and data science software, including large-scale data systems, cloud and on-prem platforms, and contributions to product integrations and software libraries.

  • Experience leading technical collaborations with engineering and product teams - including architectural design, code reviews, technical mentorship, and delivery of technical talks or workshops.

  • Proven ability to structure and implement complex technical engagements, negotiate requirements, prioritize issues, and collaborate across sales, legal, product, and marketing teams.

  • Skilled at distilling complex technical concepts for audiences from engineers to executives, with end-to-end experience defining, integrating, building, and jointly marketing solutions with strategic ISV partners.

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:

  • Hands-on experience developing with data processing and data science frameworks and a large-scale data system ecosystem of partners and solutions in the cloud and on-prem.

  • Familiarity with advanced computing, AI, and GPU acceleration platforms, including CUDA, RAPIDS, NVComp, and related CUDA-X libraries.

  • Background with cloud-based solution design, APIs and microservices, orchestration platforms, storage solutions, and data migration techniques.

  • Experience in software engineering and application development.

  • Successful history of building and scaling developer communities and delivering impactful technical enablement programs.
