Responsibilities

The Data & Analytics Operations Manager leads the organization's centralized analytics function, transforming business data into actionable insights that strengthen strategic and operational decision-making. The position manages the intake, prioritization, execution, and delivery of analytics initiatives across the organization while aligning resources with business priorities. This role partners with business leaders and analytics professionals to define objectives, establish expectations, and deliver accurate, high-impact insights. The position drives process improvement, data quality, performance measurement, innovation, and adoption of data-driven decision-making, with significant cross-functional influence and autonomy.

Leadership & Business Partnership

  • Lead the centralized analytics function to deliver timely, accurate, and high-impact insights aligned with strategic and operational priorities.
  • Partner with business leaders and analytics teams to define business objectives, establish requirements, and ensure delivered insights support effective decision-making.
  • Lead and develop cross-functional analytics professionals to strengthen capabilities, collaboration, and business impact.
  • Promote a data-driven culture by helping business partners translate analytical insights into effective actions and measurable outcomes.

Strategy & Operations

  • Prioritize and manage the portfolio of analytics and reporting initiatives to align resources with business priorities and delivery expectations.
  • Establish and continuously improve standardized processes for data intake, analysis, and reporting to increase efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain performance measures for analytics delivery, operational effectiveness, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Drive innovation and automation that accelerate insight generation and improve the quality and speed of business decision-making.

Data Quality & Governance

  • Promote adherence to data governance standards to strengthen data quality, consistency, and confidence in business reporting and analysis.
  • Guide consistent use of data and analytical practices across the organization to improve the reliability and value of business insights.
Qualifications

Education/Experience

     Required

  • Bachelor degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics operations, or data program management.
  • Up to 25% travel required.

     Preferred

  • Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong background in project management (Agile or hybrid methodologies preferred).
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data automation concepts.
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts and data automation pipelines a plus.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Leadership experience managing cross-functional analytics or data teams.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate complex analytics into actionable business insights.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement capabilities.
  • Ability to lead collaboratively and develop team capabilities.
  • Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing, SQL, and cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with workflow and project management tools (Jira, Smartsheet, Asana).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement.
  • Leadership presence with a collaborative and coaching-oriented approach.
