Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, model-driven/canvas apps) development, customization, configuration, solution management, API integrations, Azure Functions, role-based security, data migration, DevOps (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions), and familiarity with Microsoft GCC tenants and Virginia state agency implementations.

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a skilled Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Developer to lead the development, implementation, and management of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform projects. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, providing technical expertise, and ensuring solutions align with governance and enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and assist in designing, configuring, implementing, testing, and supporting D365 and Power Platform solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all Dynamics 365 development efforts and issues.
  • Follow best practices and internal standards for implementing business solutions; define and refine governance for platform usage.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including requirements, recommendations, and technical analysis.
  • Prepare mockups/prototypes and leverage Power Platform features/tools to deliver solutions meeting business needs.
  • Act as a liaison between departments and customer agencies; track, log, and resolve issues.
  • Advise customers on distinguishing Dynamics 365/PowerApps/Power Automate from other technology solutions; recommend efficient alternatives.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Proven experience working in a Microsoft GCC tenant.
  • Expertise in model-driven apps, canvas apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Dataverse.
  • Strong understanding of policies, governance, and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Experience with solution management (managed/unmanaged solutions), environment variables, and reusable components.
  • Prior experience with Virginia state agencies a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Field Service, and Sales modules.
  • Proficiency in custom connectors, Azure Functions, and API integrations.
  • Knowledge of role-based security configuration in Power Platform and D365.
  • Experience with data migration tools.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools for Power Platform (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  • Demonstrated expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement - Customer Service, Power Apps, and Power Automate development.
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, development, deployment, and usage.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and remediation of technical issues within Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft's licensing model for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
