About the Role

iCapital is seeking an Alternative Data Management Analyst to join the Data Solutions team. This individual must be comfortable working in a dynamic, performance-driven, fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering a high-quality, accurate product on a time-sensitive basis. The daily activities are diverse, from setting up and maintaining software applications, to ad hoc projects, and helping with data feed management. The role is a mix of finance and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Alternative Data Management
    • Data Acquisition, Sourcing and Maintenance - manage source document and retrieval methods related to alternative investment products
    • Data Integrity - enrich unstructured data into existing data infrastructure
    • Data Quality and Controls - ensure completeness, timeliness and accuracy of relevant investment data through validation and control processes
    • Data Governance - adhere to data governance best practices
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration - collaborate across teams to provide insights from alternative investment data across multiple reporting platforms and systems
    • Automation and Process improvement - continuously look for ways to automate and improve existing processes
    • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing - maintain and share standard operating procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
  • 0 - 3 years in data management, analysis, or financial operations
  • Proficiency in data management tools, excel and other software
  • General understanding of the alternative investment landscape
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks and meet deadlines
  • Commitment to continuously learn new technologies and adapt to new data and systems as industry evolves
  • Ability to identify and understand risks associated with data management processes
  • Ability to support the team and build relationships across teams

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $60,000 to $65,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).
