Job description

Position Summary
The Sourcing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of product and supplier master data within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) and SAP. This role supports sourcing and procurement operations by ensuring product information, supplier records, pricing, and purchasing data are accurate, current, and aligned across ERP systems. The Sourcing Coordinator also partners with cross-functional teams to support sourcing initiatives, improve data quality, and identify opportunities to streamline processes that enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update product master data in Business Central and SAP, including SKUs, descriptions, pricing, costs, dimensions, and product classifications.
  • Manage supplier master data, including lead times, payment terms, minimum order quantities (MOQs), supplier contacts, and procurement-related agreements, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
  • Validate and implement supplier pricing and product information changes while resolving data discrepancies that may impact purchasing, inventory planning, sales, or customer orders.
  • Perform routine audits of product, pricing, and supplier data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards, proactively identifying and correcting issues.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Planning, Product Development, Finance, and Operations to support inventory management, supplier performance, new product introductions, discontinued items, and other sourcing activities.
  • Assist with supplier onboarding, sourcing projects, cost-saving initiatives, reporting, and administrative activities that support strategic sourcing objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data management processes, enhance ERP workflows, and support continuous improvement initiatives that increase operational efficiency.
  • Participate in ERP system enhancements, testing, documentation, and user support as needed.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • One or more years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or ERP master data management.
  • Experience using ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or SAP.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
Preferred
  • Experience with Business Central and SAP
  • Experience maintaining product and supplier master data.
  • Knowledge of procurement, sourcing, and inventory management processes.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI.
