What You'll Accomplish with Us

As a Data Designer, you will be at the core of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Design and develop data management and integration solutions aligned with established architectures, creating high-performing, structured, and reusable components;
  • Collaborate on architecture initiatives and act as a technical expert to delivery teams, ensuring solution integrity and compliance with design, integration, development, and information security standards;
  • Work closely with business partners, IT teams, and vendors to design viable, effective, and cost-efficient solutions, promoting the reuse of existing components and the adoption of appropriate technologies;
  • Contribute to the evolution of practices, methodologies, and leading-edge tools through continuous monitoring of market trends, while serving as a technical spokesperson with various stakeholders;
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, support the deployment and operationalization of solutions, and contribute to mentoring internal and external resources involved in their implementation;
  • Leverage your expertise in data integration, modeling, and management to develop robust solutions using technologies such as SQL, Python, R, Oracle, Snowflake, Azure Databricks, ADF, SSIS, HVR, and MDM/RDM approaches.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is recognized for their expertise in data design, integration, and management, as well as related technologies and platforms;
  • Excels at simplifying complex technical concepts, communicating effectively, and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders;
  • Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and decision-making abilities;
  • Is recognized for leadership, positive influence, and the ability to mobilize teams toward common goals;
  • Has more than 5 years of experience in information technology, including at least 3 years in a data management and integration-related field;
  • Has a strong understanding of recognized approaches and methodologies such as SAFe, Agile, MVP, SDLC, and continuous delivery concepts (DevOps);
  • Holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or another relevant field;
  • Advanced proficiency in French is required. Knowledge of English is considered an asset, as the successful candidate will occasionally communicate with certain suppliers and clients located in Toronto and Vancouver, approximately once per week.
