The Role:

We are looking for a professional who will play a crucial role in business development processes and business proposal creation, including lead qualification, elaboration of our D&A offering, value proposition (business case, ROI, ...), and final deal closure.

The successful candidate will be part of the D&A Team and will work in close collaboration with the Sales team and the D&A Leads (AI, Data Engineering, Architecture, and Data Governance), to develop and present business solutions, aligning business needs and positioning KPI Digital approaches, solutions and services as key differentiators and competitive advantage.

The candidate possesses great communication skills and an understanding of the D&A field from an architecture, governance, platform, and data pipeline viewpoint. In addition, the candidate has worked in both BI and AI environments and understands the subtleties behind streaming, micro-batches, batch data pipeline as well as the AI various disciplines (ML/DL/NLP-U, DO/OR ...).

You will also be required to actively observe customer behavior and predict future needs for product development.

The ideal candidate is:


  • A great communicator both in French and English
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to present complex value propositions to client senior executives
  • Able to grow and lead a future D&A pre-sales team
  • Undergraduate degree with an excellent academic record; A master's in a related field is a plus
  • 7-10 years of pre-sales or account management experience in a consultative product or services environment; prior consulting experience would be highly appreciated
  • Minimum of 3 years in Senior Management role
  • Experience with SaaS, PaaS, and/or digital products as well as experience intransformation programs
  • Relationship management skills; able to manage contacts up and down throughout internal and client organizations
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a genuine interest in proactively contributing to the success of KPI's customers
  • Understand, analyze and customize, should be the mantra

Responsibilities of the Pre-Sales Director


The following responsibilities are in addition to the ones implied by the Role:

  • Planning of sales strategies, the positioning in contrast to the competitors, and the demonstration of the business
  • Preparation of presentations about the products or services with all their values for the usage of the sales department or directly with prospects/customers
  • Creation of marketing concepts
  • Answering customers'RFP's and RFI'sfor our local and global sales teams
  • Engagement with the customers and interpretation of their needs and derivation of advice for prospective solutions and services that are aligned with the customers' demands
