The Product Manager Data is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and managing data product roadmaps for their respective domains.

This key role drives our data product vision with a focus on a continuous product delivery model and overall success. ย 

Main responsibilities

  • Set the vision, roadmap, and prioritization for data-driven initiatives.
  • Lead and influence to drive outcomes in a cross-matrix team.
  • Define, Prioritize, and Manage data product backlog and work with the development agile delivery teams.
  • Analyze business needs, translate them into clear requirements and ensure data solutions meet stakeholders needs.
  • Act as a link between stakeholders and teams by tracking delivery progress and report on key milestones to the leadership team.
  • Develop innovative and effective approaches to solve business problems through data analytics.
  • Actively communicate results and methodologies.
  • Understand and document data dependencies, business rules and data flow diagrams of the solution developed, e.g. between source and systems consuming the data, as well as the logical processes and interfaces with other systems.ย 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with Mandatory experience as a Product Manager, a Business Analyst or a Product Owner on Data projects (5+years), including hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle. M.Sc. preferred.
  • Creative thinker with an ability to define and execute on a vision, with flexibility to pivot, as required. ย 
  • Strong communicator with an acute ability to bridge business stakeholders and technical know-how.
  • Strong quantitative and analytics skills, as well as business acumen and sound judgment
  • Independent self-starter with a can-do attitude and a curiosity to learn.
  • Familiarity with working with analytics, data platforms, and user testing to drive outcomes.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
