Finance Lead, Global Data Management

The Finance Lead, Global Data Management is responsible for leading financial master data and financial integrity activities within Deloitte's SAP-based global finance platform. This role offers the opportunity to influence accounting design, finance data strategy, and operational excellence across a complex global environment. The ideal candidate brings deep finance and accounting experience, strong SAP finance knowledge, and a track record of leading teams and process improvement initiatives.

As a Finance Lead, Global Data Management on the Global Finance Services team, you will:

  • Lead the GFS Global Data Management Finance Data team, setting priorities and operating cadence to deliver finance data integrity, controls, and automation outcomes across the global SAP finance platform.
  • Advise Deloitte member firm finance leadership on accounting design, profit center strategy, and financial data integrity in support of global initiatives.
  • Partner with technology, onboarding, and operations leaders to support member firm adoption of the SAP platform and implementation of finance data models.
  • Strengthen internal controls, compliance support, confidential data protection, and auditability across finance data processes, including time posting integrity.
  • Lead a distributed team by driving performance management, coaching, hiring, workload planning, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • 10+ years of experience managing financial accounting, cost accounting, auditing, financial statements, and financial reporting
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Advanced SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) experience, including general ledger, profit centers, cost centers, and end-to-end financial integrity
  • Experience applying GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) or IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
  • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in accounting or finance
  • Experience with ERP-enabled financial period close activities, reporting, and control workflows
  • Experience strengthening internal controls, audit readiness, and internal audit support
  • Experience improving finance processes and reporting
  • Experience leading finance data operations in a global organization
  • Experience leading automation or standardization initiatives across finance processes
