As a Data Manager within PNC's Data Products - Retail Lending organization, you will be based in either; Pittsburgh, PA, Birmingham, AL, Dallas, TX and Phoenix, AZ.
Data Manager leads Data Management and Movement team. This lead role will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the quality, security, and compliance of the organization's data assets. You will collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of data stewardship and accountability, ensuring that data is managed effectively and in line with best practices, standards and frameworks.
Specific job duties may include:
Data Governance
Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures, focusing on data classification, retention, protection, and movement.
Support compliance efforts to security and/or privacy-related regulations and industry standards.
Establish data stewardship roles and responsibilities.
Data Quality
Define and implement data quality standards and metrics.
Conduct regular data quality assessments and audits, focusing on the accuracy and integrity of sensitive financial and personal data.
Develop data cleansing and validation processes.
Data Integration
Work with cross-functional teams to define data governance roles and responsibilities, and provide training sessions to educate stakeholders on data governance concepts and requirements.
Ensure seamless data flow across various systems and applications, with a focus on payment software and systems handling PII.
Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data integration solutions.
Data Retention and Compliance
Develop and manage data retention policies and schedules.
