As a Senior Engineering Management Specialist on the Cyber team, you will be responsible for...

  • Assessing client data governance and compliance environments and developing recommendations for Microsoft Purview capabilities, including Data Loss Prevention, Compliance Manager, eDiscovery, and Information Protection.
  • Designing and implementing Microsoft Purview solutions to support data classification, labeling, retention, investigation, and governance requirements across enterprise environments.
  • Performing technical health checks, discovery, and remediation activities for Microsoft Purview deployments, including audit, privileged access, and policy configuration reviews.
  • Supporting proof of concept, deployment, integration, and post-implementation activities for Microsoft Purview and adjacent Microsoft security and compliance technologies.
  • Advising clients on data governance strategy, lifecycle management, compliance monitoring, and operating model improvements to strengthen security posture and reduce risk.

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience implementing or operating Microsoft Purview capabilities, including data classification, labeling, protection, eDiscovery, data loss prevention, or compliance reporting
  • 4+ years of experience designing and implementing data governance or compliance controls across Microsoft environments, including application integrations
  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information security, engineering, information technology, or business administration
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of experience with data governance frameworks, data lifecycle management, or compliance programs

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $105,400 to $207,800.
