Job description

Enable Data Incorporated is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Client Sales Executive to drive new business within the mid-market segment. This role will focus on identifying, engaging, and converting mid-sized organizations that can benefit from Enable Data's data, analytics, AI, and technology solutions.
The ideal candidate is a hunter-style sales professional who is comfortable building a territory from the ground up through prospecting, cold outreach, networking, referrals, and targeted account strategies. The Client Sales Executive will own the sales cycle from initial prospecting through contract negotiation and close, while partnering with internal teams to ensure a strong client experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a mid-market sales strategy focused on acquiring new clients and expanding Enable Data's presence within target accounts.
  • Identify and prioritize prospective mid-market organizations through account research, market intelligence, referrals, networking, and outbound prospecting.
  • Build a strong pipeline through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and other proactive sales activities.
  • Establish relationships with key decision-makers, including CIOs, CTOs, Data/Analytics leaders, IT executives, and business stakeholders.
  • Understand prospect business challenges and position Enable Data's data, AI, analytics, and technology services as solutions to those needs.
  • Conduct discovery meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and solution discussions with prospective clients.
  • Develop account strategies and maintain consistent engagement throughout the sales cycle.
  • Manage opportunities from prospecting through negotiation, proposal, and close.
  • Partner with technical and delivery teams to develop customized solutions and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to achieve revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasts, and sales metrics within the CRM.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to generate new relationships and business opportunities.
  • Consistently meet or exceed new business and revenue targets.

Ideal Candidate
  • Proven B2B new-business sales experience, preferably selling technology, data, analytics, AI, cloud, or IT consulting services.
  • Experience specifically targeting and selling to mid-market companies.
  • Strong hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to generate their own pipeline rather than relying primarily on inbound leads.
  • Comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls and conducting proactive prospecting.
  • Strong executive-level communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated success managing a full sales cycle and closing new business.
  • Ability to understand complex technology solutions and translate them into business value and ROI for customers.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced growth environment.

Primary Focus: Build Enable Data's mid-market customer base by consistently generating new opportunities, developing executive relationships, and closing new business.
Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience targeting and selling to mid-market companies.
  • Strong new-logo/hunter mentality with a track record of self-generated pipeline.
  • Experience with cold calling, outbound prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
  • Proven success managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
  • Experience selling to C-level and VP-level IT/Data executives.
  • Knowledge of data, AI/ML, cloud, analytics, or IT consulting services.
  • Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Strong CRM, pipeline management, and forecasting experience.
  • Highly motivated, competitive, and comfortable working independently.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent sales experience considered.
