Job description

Revolution is now hiring for a Converting Machine Operator in Oakdale, MN. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring converting equipment to produce quality products that meet customer specifications and company standards. Responsibilities include setting up and adjusting machinery, monitoring production, inspecting finished products, troubleshooting minor equipment issues, completing production documentation, and maintaining a safe and organized work area.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to producing quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, accountability, and a focus on safety while consistently meeting production goals.
  • Follow all Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to change rolls of material using Converting Department equipment in a timely and safe manner.
  • Keep workstations and surrounding areas clean, neat, and organized.
  • Be able to troubleshoot and make repairs on any Converting Department production line. This is for production machine problems or minor maintenance repairs.
  • Must be able to work in a safe manner, keeping their safety and their fellow employee’s safety the #1 priority, and following all company work rules and safety requirements.
  • All paperwork must be done in accordance with company guidelines (including Setup sheets, Quality Control Sheets, and Production sheets).
  • To work with and help their packers to keep their production lines running (including making boxes, stacking boxes, packing and labeling product where needed).
  • Clean up and organize the Converting Department at the end of the shift for the oncoming shift.
  • Work with fellow operators when they need help to keep the shift and department running at the highest possible standard, with the least amount of downtime.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience in an industrial environment.
  • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts that require every other weekend availability.
  • Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays. 
  • Essential reading and writing skills are required.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs. 
  • Must be able to stand 8-12 hours during a shift. 

The salary for this position range starts at $22/HR. In addition, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, a retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
