DATA ENTRY ASSOCIATE / ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Since 1989, Defense Technology Equipment Inc. has been highly specialized in logistic military procurement in the fields of military aerospace and aviation logistic support. With offices strategically located only fifteen minutes from Washington D.C. and a distribution center and warehouse five minutes from Washington-Dulles International Airport, we have the capability to provide our customers with technical support and aircraft on the ground (AOG) needs in a short period of time. And our proximity to the airports, U.S. Government agencies, the U.S. Department of Defense, and worldwide Embassies Military Attaches' Procurement Offices enables us to work closely, personally and efficiently with our clients.

As the Data Entry Associate, you will utilize your skills and talents to successfully perform the following responsibilities, which will include but not be limited to:

·         Enter requests for quotes into ERP system.

·         Work closely with sales team to ensure that information received from client for price request is complete.

·         Submit requests for parts to vendors and maintain follow up until quotes are received.

·         Enter final quote information into database and present to sales representative for review.

Qualifications:

·         Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

·         Strong written/verbal communication skills.

·         Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are key in this role.

·         Ability to prioritize and multitask.

·         Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

·         At least one year of experience as a Data Entry Clerk.

·         High School Diploma or GED.

·         Bilingual in Spanish, French or Portuguese is a plus.

·         Aviation Industry knowledge highly desirable
