Job description

Summary
Responsible for all PSC (Patient Service Center) front office duties. This function includes and is not limited to: Customer service, data entry, insurance billing and payments, problem resolution, following HIPPA regulations, and ordering office supplies. May provide support at several locations.
Duties and Responsibilities
โ€ข Greet customers appropriately. Treat all customers in a courteous manner.
โ€ข Assists patients with kiosk sign-in, and ensures accuracy of same.
โ€ข Contacts clients to obtain patient orders.
โ€ข Handles customer inquiries.
โ€ข Reads, understands, and complies with departmental policies, protocols and procedures: (i.e. Procedure Manuals, Safety Manual, Compliance Manual, Employee Handbook, Quality Assurance Manual).
โ€ข Performs basic clerical duties, i.e. filing, faxing, preparing mail, some data entry.
โ€ข Demonstrates organizational commitment and values of Company.
โ€ข Adheres to departmental and company policies.
โ€ข Reports on time to work, following attendance guidelines.
โ€ข Answers the telephone in a friendly and helpful manner, by incorporating the company name, self-identification and a helpful statement.
โ€ข Use established protocols for reporting customer complaints.
โ€ข Ensures that HIPPA Compliance regulations are followed; uses test translation tables.
โ€ข Completes all required training.
โ€ข Assists with stocking of supplies.
โ€ข Other duties as required to meet the customer requirements.
โ€ข Completes special projects as requested by supervisor or manager.
Job Qualifications
Required Work Experience:
โ€ข One year customer service experience
Preferred Work Experience:
โ€ข Keyboard/data entry and PC experience
Physical and Mental Requirements:

โ€ข Able to lift up to 25 pounds; carrying up to 15 pounds for several minutes at a time.
