Job description

Primoris Energy Services is seeking experienced Timekeeping Coordinator II professionals to support Power, Industrial, and Civil construction operations across multiple project locations. This position will be responsible for daily timekeeping functions, workforce tracking, payroll support, onboarding coordination, and project support for field operations.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment while supporting project teams and field personnel.

  • Civil – Houston, TX

  • Civil – Mulberry, FL

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter, review, and reconcile daily employee timecards in accordance with company policies and project schedules.
  • Communicate with field supervisors and craft employees to collect, verify, and resolve timekeeping discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized records of attendance, manpower reports, equipment usage, onboarding documentation, and project-related files.
  • Prepare and distribute daily and weekly manpower, payroll, and job cost reports.
  • Support payroll processing by ensuring timely and accurate submission of employee hours.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires by collecting required documentation and coordinating orientation schedules.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, timekeeping, onboarding, and job assignments.
  • Coordinate with project management and field leadership to support daily operational needs.
  • Perform general coordination duties including document control, scheduling support, filing, data entry, and supply tracking.
  • Provide backup support to additional project coordination functions as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and project-related information.
  • Support a culture of safety, compliance, and professionalism onsite.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant coursework preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of timekeeping, coordination, payroll, or administrative support experience, preferably within industrial or construction environments.
  • Experience supporting field operations and project teams preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with timekeeping systems such as mJob, HCSS, Viewpoint, SAP, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Working Conditions:

  • Onsite position located in Hubbard, TX.
  • Work performed in a construction site and/or project field office environment.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform computer/data entry tasks for extended periods.
  • Occasional exposure to outdoor construction conditions including heat, dust, uneven terrain, and noise.
  • May require occasional travel between project sites or regional offices as needed.
